Images taken from upscale auction catalogues are re-represented as hand painted posters. Blocks of color suggest an abstraction of painterly text not unlike an advertisement. Papa Object was inspired by a childhood of overwhelmingly abundant material culture and redeems talismanic individual objects from their anonymity in a marketplace gone off the rails.
